Buying gifts for travelers in your life can sometimes be tough. Most of the time travelers want to carry as little as possible. So what do you get for someone that is always on the go that they will actually use? Here is a list of items that we would be happy to receive as travelers — many of which we already own and use regularly — that would make the perfect gift for the traveler in your life!
The avid traveler is rough on their luggage and needs something that can stand up to the rigors of their non-stop use. Choosing the right piece of luggage can be a challenge! But we have some suggestions that will hopefully make your decision easier.
Traditional Luggage – If your traveler prefers traditional suitcases vs. backpacks, the Samsonite Omni PC Hardside 3 Piece Set is an excellent gift that comes in 3 different sizes. They are lightweight, durable, and come with their own TSA lock.
Collapsible Bag – We cannot count how often we have gone traveling and needed another bag because we bought too many souvenirs and they wouldn’t fit in our luggage, or they would fit but made our bags too heavy. A collapsible bag is perfect for just such an occasion and would be a great gift to give the traveler in your life!
Weekender Overnight Bag – These Bluboon Weekender Bags are really the perfect size for any traveler. They function well as overnight bags for a quick weekend getaway or can compliment your luggage as a carry on bag for something like your camera equipment. They would also be great for short business travel.
2. Packing Cubes
Packing cubes have changed our lives! Originally we thought, “How could these things be effective? You’re putting more stuff into your bag!” We quickly learned, however, that not only are they the best way to organize your bag, but you’re somehow able to fit so much more in! This 6 Piece Set of eBags Packing Cubes are what we use and we absolutely LOVE them!
3. Hidden Pocket Scarf
Travel Scarfs are great for hiding valuables like passports and cash when walking through places with a lot of pickpockets. Or if you’re in an airport you can quickly stash your passport in your scarf for easy, convenient access. And as one of our YouPaca The Bag features recently pointed out, a scarf is a great way to dress up an otherwise ordinary (but comfortable) travel outfit! Great gifts for men and women!
4. Travel Journal
